1991 rs, l03
looking to get more power out of it, whats some performance upgrades for all stock 305tbi?
was thinking, cam lifters timing chain carb swap hei dist
what else can I do? chip?

S10 torque converter, 3.42 gears + posi, good headers and 3in exhaust. If your TBI gives you problems toss in a 14 PSI spring .. Ive done these small things except for headers and it feels like a different car.

that all sounds good, but why a s10 converter? more stall/

Yep. 22-2400 stall and for around $130-150. I like mine

Yep upgrade the gears and exhaust first. It will feel like a different car. Then you're all setup for a 350 or larger later when you want even more.

right on....thanks for advice guys.... any ideas on exhaust kits, looking at a dynomax kit from ebay, cat back kit....any feedback on the dynomax vs flows or magnaflo?

finally got the ridler wheels on my barn find all original , (accept wheels) 91 rs
for those who want to know its ridlers 675s
17x8 245 40s Front
17x9,5 275 40s Rear
now got to get it sounding and performing good, plans include iroc hood, posi disc rear, window tint, and repaint, clear coat issues.... drove to Cherokee NC Saturday, and no issues, ac blows so cold, and pulls the mountains hard, handles great with the F41 suspension... I love it...
