Pic # 2 - Unknown - On my new project 92 RS which is supposed to be a TBI 305
The injectors in the 2nd pic appear to have red stems w/ RIN-1000 / 1096 & 1210 on top while the injectors in Pic # 1 seem to be orange and I couldn't see any writing on them...
Yea I kind of figured that, the red ones are what concern me. I can't identify them, and it'a making me wonder if it's the original L03 or if someone has done some kind of swap of the motor, TBI or Injectors on car #2. The Injector Pod I pulled off a 91 S10 had injectors w/ the orange stems too, never seen red...

One thing I know for sure... the red one's don't appear OEM. From what i'm reading in my service manual (I known I should have looked there first) all OEM TBI injectors are stamped with two stamps. Top line should read GM w/ part number and vendor ID number, the second line should read a 4 digit build date code followed by the GM logo.
Its not the color of the electrical connectors that matter. Every GM TBI injector that style has orange stems. Its the painted colors in the middle. This was a NOS 300 HP Marine TBI unit. Pink/Purple code high pressure 46 lb/hr injectors.
