Crossfire Injection
Hey everybody, I know a lot of people tag on the CFI system that came in some 82-83 Z28s and Trans Ams, but those people are the ones that don’t understand them and how they work. I’ve been a member of TGO for over 20 years under various usernames, have built/restored 16 thirdgen Trans Ams over the years, and am a CFI and Thirdgen guru. My current LU5 is going 14.30s with not a whole lot done to it, and is a daily driver, rain or shine. I have a youtube channel dedicated to the CFI and thought I would share it with everybody. If anyone has any requests for some new videos or how-to topics, let me know.

Re: Crossfire Injection
CFI definitely has it's limitations, but those who flame it, don't understand it it. Once you sort it out, which usually means fixing it's vacuum leaks, it's a dead nuts reliable system which looks and sounds very cool.

Re: Crossfire Injection
It does have its limitations, but so does an L03, and LB9/L98. A CFI manifold base can be easily ported to outflow a $1000+ aftermarket TPI setup. It can be as good as the amount of time you want to put into it. I’ve been driving CFI cars for 25 years, and any of the problems I’ve ever had, none were CFI related. Glad to hear you’re a fan! 👍

I think I'd rather just bolt on a Holley Sniper system...

Re: Crossfire Injection
Wish Id done this instead of all the $ spent beefing up my TBI system. I wouldn't have spent a whole lot more $ and would have gotten more performance for sure. May go that route later down the road along with a lil more cam.
