Inline fuel pump question

Ive read that you can run a higher pressure inline fuel pump as long as your intake fuel pump is workin correctly... I was curious as to if I bought a Holley pump that worked at 45 psi if

1. the fuel lines can handle that
2. the intake fuel pump wont burn out really fast or something
3. I'll auctually be able to get 45 psi outa it incase I ever switch to mpfi...

Thanks

The psi doesn't mean much. Just get the flow chart of the fuel pump. The 45psi just means that it can flow x amount of fuel under a 45psi condition. TBI runs much lower fuel pressure so expect the fuel pump to flow at least 20% more than what it does at 45psi. Sometimes the slope is even more but whatever it is it's always more flow when there is less pressure. The fuel lines can handle the 45psi of a mpfi but I would get new larger fuel lines if you go to TPI and start making some decent horsepower.
