I’ve bought a remanufactured ac compressor, added oil, added ac .. clutch not engaging.
I’ve noticed on new compressor it’s missing a connector.. old compressor has this connector attached.. could this be my problem? wrong ac compressor? .. see pics below
you need to take that pressure switch off the old compressor (or obtain correct new replacement) and install on the replacement compressor instead of that plug-beware there is refrigerant under pressure under that switch.

Thanks for the response.. but I don’t believe it’s removable from old compressor.. on new compressor, I will try to get the cap off and install a new pressure switch.
But to confirm.. this is definitely my problem for clutch not engaging?
