LT4 Cam
LT4 Cam
Hey Guy's --
I'm seriously considering swapping in a LT4 into my truck. I have a LO5. I'm also gonna swap in a set of Trick Flow heads. I wanna know if my 350 TBI will be adequate enough. Tell me what i need guys!

I have an L05 I'm putting an LT4 cam into soon. I bored my TBI out to 48mm a while ago.
Just for grins I plugged all the numbers (stock vs. 48mm TBI) into DeskTop Dyno and they weren't much different, unless you want more power above 6000 rpm. I would take the figures from DTD with a grain of salt tho. I don't count on it being right on.
I think with those heads and that cam you'd prolly want something bigger.

The induction feature of the Desktop dyno is a crock and is probably the weakest part of the program. If you stick a 400 cfm carb and an 1050 cfm carb on the same engine, you get virtually the same horsepower/torque. I wouldn't trust that program at all as far as the induction goes. it is pretty neat otherwise, though.
