OK...
Well everytime my cars running like crap cuz it feels like my timings off (which it is) I move my distributer cap a little bit and then my car is faster and runs alot better... But then after like a week it goes back to normal.. Is this is sign that i need my timing set the right way, or does this mean I need a new cap and rotor?
Thats what I'm thinking.. I bought my car and never changed it and I dont remember if the guy I bought it from told me he changed it or not..

If the cap and rotor are old, replacing them is probably a good idea. As for your timing, see teh label on the front underside of your hood. That will tell you how to adjust it properly

are you unplugging the EST wire its on the passenger side tan w/ a black stripe. you have to unplug that to set the base timing correctly
