Start Problems + Cam Swap = ?

My car currently has a *VERY* hard time starting. If I swap the new cam in, could that damage it when I go to start the car and it takes a while to turn over?

hard start has nothing to do with the cam. that is more a function of the battery, the starter, and the state of tune. the cam will not be affected at all.

Ok, cool.. I was afraid there would be a lack of oil or something and I would burn the cam. Dunno where I heard that from. Thanks Tim.
