Woo who!!Got home from work and they were setting there. I am in the process of removing valves and springs so I can do a little port work and gasket matching. All in all they look pretty good. I also got a ZZ4 cam coming any day now. I'm thinking I'll have 300hp out of this combo when I'm done tuning. Then I'll work on sticking it to the ground.:lala:

I don't know whats happening to me. A couple of months ago I couldn't think of a nice thing to say about a 305. Then suddenly I got a wild hair up my butt and decided to build up the L03 instead of a future crate motor swap. I'm even thinking of doing the 335 stroker motor thing when the lo3 gets tired.

I bought a g-tec and am going to do a before and after. It will be quit awhile before I do the head and cam swap. Waiting for nice weather.

 

thats cool this summer (hopefully) my lil 305 will start to come alive. ZZ4 cam Aluminum L98s

 

 

my combo should be all in the car in about 3 days (if all goes well) World heads, comp cam 206/210 dur .450/.480 lift , ceramic headers, edelbrock performer intake....all on my original rebuilt 305 shortblock!

Make sure you polish up those heads for more power.

 

its about time we get some people that are hooking up the tbi.. now i can sit back watch you guys and try to learn as much.. your combo is what i want wellt he heads anyways i will have the lt1 cam.. and i was thinking of doing the 335 stroker also when the 305 dies.. wont the 335 stroker have good torque curve.. not to change the subject... 335 with a blower and s/r torquers...


how much was total price on the heads?

i hear the 335 makes some mad low end torque...that sounds really good to me low end torque will help win street races plus it would be wierd to say "yeah i got a 335 in it" people wouldnt know what that was...a blown 335 TBI...that sounds badass...let me know how the heads and cam make the car run im also planning on swapping for those heads soon as i get a spare 700$ or so...also want an lt1 cam then its suspension time if i didnt have to get new shocks/struts/springs id probably go ahead and get the heads but i need all of the above bad....plus i need some more meat under there....so many things and so little money hopefully this summer between birthday money/graduation money ill be able to afford to hook the 305 up some...
