HP question. Please step inside.

I was wondering.. How much power can our two bolt main's take? I see everyone increasing their HP, But aren't all factory 305's a two bolt.. So how much is to much..

a 2-bolt main can handle plenty of power. there are guys who routinely go well over 400hp on 2-bolt mains with 350's.
the strength difference between a 2-bolt and a 4-bolt mean ta lot more in the bad old days when the casting and balancing of internal parts was not as accurate. for late model 1piece rear seal blocks like ours it is not a safety issue.
if you are concerned about stressing your bottom end, just get a good balancer and either rebalance your flywheel/flexplate or buy a new one.

Yes they are. The only 4 bolt blocks really you will find from the factory are: 68-69 302, 70-72 LT1, and 3/4 trucks in the 70s received 4 bolt 400s and 350s. If you're looking for a donor car, then look for one of those.
