Smog question (urgent)

Smog question (urgent)

ok.. my smog pump is off.. but now im stuck..what do I do with the hose coming down to it.. just take it off and cap it with something... or just take it off and let it do its thing...

answered my own "dumb" question... i was sitting there and a socket fell on my head and then i was like duh... there was air goin into it before im sure it doesn't matter that the hose is left sitting there.....

The smog pump attached to the diverter valve. The D valve splits to three one way valves; 2 on the exhaust manifold and one for the cat converter. The vavle could stay or you could cap them with 3/4 pipe caps from the harware store. I left the one to my converter alone until I got a new cat. The Random Tech. cat that I got had the inlet for the AIR system capped off, so I left it like that and removed all the other piping.
