going to track for second time, need help
this time I plan on pulling the rear seats, one bushing out of the front sway bar, rear tires (potenza 730 (245s)) at 30 psi left and 29 psi right, front tires (crappy goodyear (235s)) at 42 psi, timing at 6* (more or less?), remove the wheater striping on the rear on the hood, 1/4 tank of gas with 104 octane boost, lock up converter, no air cleaner, anything else guys? I would really like to hit about a 15.3, I got better tires now so that should help my alittle on my last hook problem.
I'll be racing saturday

that sucks that our cars struggle to run a 15.3 in the quater...just wasnt built to go fast i guess i bet you could hit 14s with a posi rear and better gears
::edit:: actually with your mods thats pretty good i was thinking you had done more than that

you can skip teh ovtane booster, those things are junk.
for the tires, put the fronts to 45psi and lower both rears to 26 or 27. you may wanna dropteh front sway bar if you are trying to get the best possible time.
also, be sure to take your time when you stage the car. pull intothe first set of beams and stop, then creep the car forward until the second set of staging lights barely trns on. this wil get you as shallow in the beams as possible and allow the car a several inch head start before the timing system starts.
