mine is at 4-5 and i have no problems that i know of. try it out see how the car responds.
hmm i might wanna check that then, cuz if i don't put 93 in mine she makes terrible noises, so maybe mine is already advanced... ill check it and see
would that do any good on an otherwise stock car? other than exhaust mods???
thanks

a little bit of base timing advance always helps. any car can benefit from it, especially a stock car with a stock chip in it. the stock timing tables are way too mild.
teh exhaust side of theengien has little to no effect on teh timing capabilities of the car. if you make mods to teh intaek side it can make a difference, butu for liitle things like ultimate mods and open elements it will be barely noticable.
like 91bird305 said, you shoudl run higher octane gas if you plan to advance the timing. i have seen some cars get as far as 6degrees when runnign 93 octane.
