This might sound strange because I know everyone says you should but i never pluged my vacume and my car runs pretty damn good! All I did was reroute it, I put a small hole in the non-drop bass and shoved the tube that is connected to the vacume in there with no problem. Everything esle you did I did as well. I felt more power the second I drove off and still gives me no problem.
i think i found my problem guys.... i think i either have a dead plug or bad wires... i was reving it it to 4500 and it back-fired out the TBI and its missing this is usually because of dead plugs/wires... i am going to replace the wires and plugs soon... anything else i should do while i am at it???
UPDATE!!
no i didn't plug the breather.... i just poped the distributer cap off to see if there was moisture in there well the little metel tabs were coroded pretty bad... i sanded all the corosion off and put it back on and WOW what a difference i will soon get new wires plugs and cap..just to replace all the stock stuff... advice for all... if you have your stock distributer cap and don't plan to replace it soon i highly recomend poping it off and sanding down those metal tabs in it (I don't know the tech term
) well worth 10 minutes...
) well worth 10 minutes... you got to watch the camaros everytime i upgrade something something else breaks at that same monment and makes me think i somehow did something terribly wrong but just replacing plugs or something stupid like that
my dads mustang was missing real bad and running bad we took off the cap and it was worse than ive ever seen...rotor was snaped off and the points burned up..replaced them and it felt like we supercharged the thing (hehe well almost

) just make sure that you didn't accidentally unplug one of the injectors. I did that while installing mine and i started it and it literally didn't go over 15mph, and bogged all the way down the street. I took the cap off and quickly reconnected it. Your probably not that stupid (like me
but just check in case it happened.

Pablo, I don't understand about how it would be a vacume leak? It was breathing through the old aircleaner, granted it was a smaller hole but still it's not doing anything it hasn't befor! Im just asking because I don't know. My car seems to run better then befor the way it sits now and every time I plug it it seems like it's about to stall. Thats why I left it unpluged. Any insight on this would be good. thanks

I guess ill try again, Im just confused about it, if it was breathing air before and it's breathing air now, then how is it a vacume leak
It's doing nothing it hasn't befor. I don't mean to argue but hey, how else am I going to learn
But again, ill try it once more.

But again, ill try it once more. because your going from that ugly snorkel and going to a open round air filter. Theres a vacuum line that controls the intake of that snorkel. Weather it beath throught the heatriser or cold air from the front, its controled by that vacuum line.
When you remove the stock airassembly, that vacuum line has to be plugged.
