do i need a brone dist gear with lt1 cam

i bought a new MSD pro billet dist for my 350 tpi motr and also got the bronze gear. i read in CHP magizine that you do not need a bronze gear with the lt4 HOT cam. what about the regular lt1 cam. i ran th eengine with the bronze gear for 30 minutes to break the engine in and pulled dist and it looks fine. is it a keeper or should i put the gear that came with the dist back on

ZR,

You might not HAVE to use a bronze dist gear, but you CAN use it. As long as it's already on, leave it there and smile...
