running braided line ?

I am totally confused about running braided line but i know I want to do it for my carb swap. I need to run the hose from the hard fuel tubing to the inlet on the mallory 4309 FPR (3/8" female inlet/outlet) and go from the outlet to the Holley p/n 34-150 dual feed fuel line which looks to have a female inlet which i think is 3/8". would the sales reps at summit or jegs know what to get because i dont know what parts i need. all help is appreciated.
thanks
brady

I did this exact thing on my car a few months ago. Here's a thread with all the parts I used, part #s, and how I routed everything:

Hope this helps,
