Arent all GTA's 350's?
So if one has a stick, it was probably installed after. That or he has fake badges. Just seen it drive around here a few times

They made 305 GTA's?
I looked in the tech section and GTA is only listed under the 5.7L

I know that when I got my GTA in late spring 1991, I could get the 5.7 (no T-roof), a 305 5-speed (w/ T-roof) or 305 auto (w/ T-roof) all for the same price in the area I lived. At that time, the 5.7 GTA was the most difficult to find. Virtually all were 305 5 speeds at that time.
A major recession had just "kicked in" in early 1991 and cars were just not moving (and no new ones coming in).
