My information sticker in the engine compartment is missing.

Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
It says "0 degrees".

Try 6 degrees advanced, as suggested. If you get pinging, you've got clogged EGR passages or a non-functional EGR valve.

The extra advance makes an amazing difference.
