SES light... Ugh
Hey everyone... been a long time since I was last here, I hope everyone's doing alright. Anyway, today was such a nice day that I decided to take the car out for a spin. To my surprise though, I turned on the car, and the SES light stayed on for three minutes. The light finally went out after I cleared the driveway of my apartment building's garage. I drove it around anyway, and felt nothing wrong with the car, in fact, it still had that kick to it that I forgot about while it was sitting in the winter. It's weird because a few weeks ago, my friend's '98 Grand Am did the same thing on the way home from school. His SES light went on, and when he was driving back, the SES light went out. He took it to a dealership anyway, and they found nothing wrong. Has anybody else ever experienced this? I have the L98/Auto engine.
BTW, I took the car in for a pressure test on the cooling system today too, and they told me that my intake manifold gaskets are leaking again, which sucks because I just changed them out last November...
They said though that the leak was still pretty small. How bad is it to drive around with a leaking intake manifold gasket? I hate to be even considering it but I'll need the car on campus this week. Any input? Thanks guys.

Coolant Leak
Oh BTW, I should also mention that there is no coolant leaking into the engine oil. I checked it and no droplets whatsoever. Just the front driver's side part of the intake manifold is leaking. Think the car is up for a 140 mile trip?
