ok the black box on the pass side firewall is keeping me from getting my headers in i dont have AC anymore so why do i need it there?? i know my heater core is back there somewhere but cant i get rid of the black box and put sheet metal there or something what is in there? if i dont need it why is it still there?

 

if you don't have ac any more you can remove it and buy a housing for non ac equiped car
