Its Not A 305 But It Is A 350!!
I bought my 1st 3rd gen camaro a few weeks ago...its an 89 RS...the stock motor is a 305 (lo3 
) and the dealer who i bought it from said it was a 350...i was kinda in a mix up...was it really a 305 or a 350?...i found out on the back of the block...on the drivers side my the dist. it said 5.7 LG...im guessing its a 350 block..so it means that its a 350...PLEASE correct me if im wrong...

Yeah on the back of these newer engines it has the 5.0 or 5.7 You could write down the casting #'s on the block and maybe the head casting #'s too so you can figure out what has been done with your car in the past.
