Where to buy Bosch, Hella, or DEI relays?
I am planning on doing the headlight upgrade as per the tech article and am having little luck finding anyplace online to buy the relays (and the other stuff) required to make the upgrade. Where would I find these relays? I was looking around at the various online places but none of them looks...trustworthy...enough to buy from and expect the stuff to be sent in a reasonable amount of time. Which of the major retailers sell these relays? I'd go check myself but I live 20 miles from the closest auto parts store and even then it's an Autozone... So who can help me out here
Thanks a lot

Don't get hung up on a name. Potter & Brumfield has been making high quality relays since long before Bosch and Hella made their first light bulb...
Try a 25-30A enclosed relay, P&B or Magnecraft http://www.newark.com/search/Descrip...sp?sku=32C5060

Yeah, there are some other really good relays out there. AARMs are pretty nice, in addition to those Vader listed. When I wrote the article, I just listed those because they were easiest to find (at least around here, sorry).
Try Circuit City or similar chain stores. Their car stereo install department usually stocks good relays.

Go to your local big truck dealership ( Frieghtliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt etc..) You can get all the relays your little heart desires, and they will be less expensive (most likely) than any autozone, stereo shop or even mail order.
The last ones I bought were like 5 dollars each, they may be more or less depending on where you go. Maybe let your fingers do the walking through the yellow pages.

You could waltz into any "real" car audio place (not The Wiz or similar), and tell 'em you want a few relays. If they want too much, laugh, and try to haggle 'em down. My buddy works in car audio, and he says they get the relays for about $1 each from the distributors.
