Okay my engine and trans are now out of my car, the engine is on the stand and the tranny is gonna be rebuilt this week. I am gonna re-gasket and repaint the engine, replace the motor mounts, and the tranny mount if it is torn. My torque arm bushing looks like it could use replacing, where can I buy this item? Is there any other bushings, etc I need to replace while its all taken apart?

You can get a torque arm mount at Autozone.

Energy Suspension makes a poly torque arm bushing; it made one hell of an improvement in the way my car took corners! All the wiggle from the back is gone. Plus, the car feels more sturdy just going straight! I think it cost me $25 from http://www.summitracing.com ... find part # info at http://www.energysuspension.com . It takes Summit 2 days to ship something to my house, so you'd still have time.

You could re-loom the wires with new black loom if you're up for that one. See if you can find any frame cracks while you're under there, and look for any badly rusted/crushed brake lines. Doing any painting? Why not http://www.por15.com the crossmember? I used the Super Starter Kit (semi-gloss, $20) on my rear axle, it came out beautifully. Just don't get any on your skin (wear long sleeves!); if you spill any on the concrete, hit it FAST with brake cleaner, or it'll be there forever.
