a few questions

ok im new so this might have been asked already but what are some good mods *I already know the free mods* but should i go with headers first or what? the car is a 1988 IROC Z with a 350 and any tips u guys can give me that will help about anything really would be very nice cuz this is my first camaro so all help is welcome thx

Note: i already gave it a good tune up and its runnig nice and smooth

What's your budget?

If you can do the work yourself cam's are relatively cheap ... I really just wanted to congratulate you on your new car though good luck with it!

ya i can do the work myself *if i cant im sure my dad will give me a hand* and my budget is about $1,000 after buying the car

Do headers and cat-back first. The stock exhaust on these cars are horrible and without a free flowing exhaust any other mod won't meet its potential.

I'd recommend the Hooker cat-back, sound clip is in the signature.

Then I would do a gear swap, though most people don't have the tools to do it, some 3:42s would be best with TPI, this is of course a good idea if you have the horrible 2:73s.

Then a cam swap would help out a lot.

Exhaust! Do the exhaust first.

There are plenty of posts on this very subject, just do a search on the website here. You'll find all sorts of information, good--bad or indifferent.
