where is my pcv valve?

where is my pcv valve?

quick little dumb question but hey alot of mine are when i post them so whats wrong with another? hehe where abouts is my PCV valve located on my 82 trans am. it's got the basic LG4 engine with the 4 barrel carb. and well im at it.. where about is my 02 sensor located? hehe it's spring tune up time and want to make sure the old engine is runnin at it's prime..

Should be on your drivers side valve cover, possible the passenger side. It's very easy to spot. The o2 sensor will be in your exhaust manifold, on the drivers side probably. Just think about what this stuff does and it is relatively easy to figure out where it will be.

If you read around, you'll probably stumble upon an age-old argument about which is better, Hayne's or Chilton's manuals. I say buy both. I think I spent $20 total on the two books... especially when you're having trouble locating that "hard to find" PCV valve..or air filter...or gas cap, these should help you out.
