In School- need help quick!
hey guys,
yesterday I took my car for a long ride, and I noticed that after running it hard (like 120 on the highway) hot air would be bellowing out at my feet. The heater was NOT on, was this just engine heat?? the engine temp. was normal, but my feat were sweating!!! Any Ideas??
Thanks for any help

sometimes the air damper for the heater/cooling won't close all the way and let the air flow across the heater core and come out at your feet, you fan doesn't have to be on either, the force of the outside air (at highway speeds) will work its way down the intake and come out inside the car. on our cars the heater core always has hot water running through it (even if the system is off), My car did this so I installed a manual valve in the heater hose in the engine compartment to shut the water flow to the heater core off in the summer when I don't need it, that helped alot.
