Aaaaarrrrghhh.... no start!
A couple of days ago, I replaced my injectors. I can't get the engine to turn over since. I've looked into everything I can think of, including:
Fuel pressure (50 psig)
Spark (attached timing light and it flashes during starting)
Disconnected MAF
Replaced ignition module
Cold start valve functional check
Disconnected the timing reference wire
Checked all fuses
No EGR so didn't worry about this one
I even got back down to the fuel rail, pulled it off the intake and cranked to see if I was getting fuel. They are firing. Also, I suspected a vacuum leak but the engine should still start, then run rough. It gives no hint of wanting to start.... just cranks and cranks.
So the bottom line is I believe I'm getting spark and fuel. What else could cause a no start?

Jeff,
I appreciate your help but I didn't touch my plug wires. I have a feeling the injectors aren't supplying enough fuel to fire up the engine. Earlier, I sprayed some starter fluid into the plenum and it started. It ran but it backfired through the exhaust. I killed it then.
I also temporarily swapped in the ECM out of my functional convertible. It did not help.

I'm with Vader, check to see if the injectors are firing...also, quick check to see if 12v's is there and and you haven't burnt the INJ1 and INJ2 fuses.
You couldn't have crimped the injector harness somewhere when putting it all back together? May want to check both sides of the plug to ground..could be a short.
Starting fluid indicates you're not getting any fuel.

Guys,
I really appreciate all your thoughts. They are all good ones. Fortunately, I figured it out tonight (finally after three days!!).
Jeff, you're not going to believe how stupid I was. I decided tonight to reinstall my original ignition module. Upon reinstalling the cap and wires, I discovered that I did screw up the firing order!! (Go ahead with the "I told you so"......) My four wire retainer for the driver's side bank of wires somehow got inverted, so what I perceived to be the #1 wire was actually the #7 wire, and so on..... What a dufus I am.... live and learn.
Again, thanks for all the input to all of you.

Yep, I'm a classic example.
Through it all, I did test the new injector resistances, I did replace them with known good ones, etc. All in all, I did all the labor to get to the injectors a total of SIX times. All because I had four plug wires goofed up.... Well, at least I admit to it and smile about it (now anyways). This is one I'll always remember.

Same thing happened to uys last year at the macgathering in ohio. A girl with a TBI 350 was complaining that something just wasn't right with her car after we did an oil pressure sending unit swap.. We went nuts going over the whole thing a million times, and i'm talking there were probably 5 or more of us 'old-timers' there scratching our heads.
We finally exhaustively checked the firing order instead of just quickly looking at it. Turned out to be 2 wires switched up on us after all....whoops. And nobody rememebered screwing with the wirers that time either, lol, famous last words i guess

I've done the same thing. It drives you absolutely batty! Next time something happens you're going to go over the firing order time and again doubting yourself and it will be something else equally as simple!
At least that's how those things play out for me.
But then again, I'm slow!:lala:

As a friend of mine once said, "If you can't laugh at yourself, you're taking life too seriously." I truly hope we're all laughing. I am.
