Just purchased Trick Flows 23 heads.....?

Do I need different pushrods with these heads? I have some stock 76cc heads now on my 89 383sb.The Summit book say that I may need some.

It depends on the rocker arms you are using. You should have a sheet with the heads that tells you what length pushrod fits what rocker. Go to the trickflow site and there is some info there on what to use. IM using comp cams rockers on mine and was able to use stock length pushrods. Just check for the proper length when you get them.

You have the right length when the mark on the valve tip from the rocker is approximately 1/3rd of the way in from the inboard side with the lifter on the base circle of the cam.

Mike,
How do U like your Trick Flow heads? Did U do some before & after testing before the install?
With the install do i need to install some oil or something to the head bolts (ARPs)?

I like them alot they make good power, I didnt do any before tests it was a new combo. The car did make over 300 rwh with a blocked cat, and restrictive exhaust. I have new Headers, exhaust pipe and ported SuperRam runners and intake. So It should be closer to 340 rwh when all the tuning is done it feels much stronger over 3500 rpm now, wont know for sure till the dyno tuning is done. The intake is the resriction on my setup right now, a MiniRam, or StealthRam would let the heads really flow.

Yeah you should put some oil under the bolt heads were the washer is, and some PST sealer on the threads. The install instructions will tell you everything you need to know. I dont know if you have ever worked with aluminum heads before. But be very careful not to cross thread them. If the bolt doesnt start to thread in pretty much by hand stop and find out why.
