Is that the same as torque steer?

Let's say you need to turn your car around but there isn't enough room to do it in one smooth turn. You would have to turn, stop, back up, then finish the turn. To eliminate this time consuming step, you start your turn, mash the gas breaking the tires loose and swinging the rear of the car around very quickly to get you pointed in the right direction. That's throttle steer, and it's fun!

You also use it to help turn a car thats pushing through a corner(s). Pushing is when the front of the car wants to go straight and not turn so you try to balance the car in the turn with the throttle.

Torque steer is what you have on a front wheel drive car when you have enough power and the effect of the torque is trying to turn the wheels as in steering the car.
