4th Gen cooling fans

I went with HrdRocka4305 today to the junkyards and I found a dual cooling fan from a 4th gen firebird. I am buying a griffin radiator and would like to know if this will keep my car cool enough vs. buying a hi-po dual fan. My car needs all the cooling I can get. Thanks

If they are like the stock fan sets I've seen, one is a 150W motor (main) and one is a 100W motor (secondary). The pair should move plenty of air through the radiator, as long as it will fit.

I don't know, but I can tell you that the fan motors on my dual fan setup (bought new) are both the same part #. If there's a speed difference it would be somewhere in the wiring, and mine's not stock so I wouldn't know.

They do move a TON of air though.

Fans on my 94 Formula are the same. They don't always both come on at the same time, but they are the same fan and motor physically.

And they do move a LOT of air. Way more than any 3rd gen setup that I am familiar with.

We'll MAKE it fit! I don't doubt it'll move good enough air. I think it'd be cool to snag the one off that cop car though. You KNOW thats gotta be heavy duty!

Just for the record, it dosen't fit because the motors are too deep on top of the thick radiator and they touch the acc. pulleys.
