Early distributer with late harness... who sells the adapter?

I've seen some adapters available to use the newer small-cap distributers on Vettes and earlier f-bodies that use the larger distributer with the integrated coil, but I need the opposite. I'm converting to an 87 harness but retaining my 85 distributer. I'd prefer not to cut up the harness because I plan on upgrading the distributer later. Anybody know if this type of adapter is available, or at least if the bare plugs are available so I can build one?

All you should really need is one HEI Power pigtail (positive wire into the dstributor), and a connector for your tach. Find the positive wire to the dist. then just cut the old connector off and splice the new one on

I used Summit racing part # SUM-G5210, cost me 5 bucks. =)

Hmm. I was under the impression that all of the connections on the distributer (not the cap) used a different harness plug with the new distributer.
