Heater fan not working and checked the fuses...all good
It happened when I installed an overhead console. I cut the dome light wire and it sparked (duh) so I thought, oh no biggy, just a fuse. The problem is that EVERYTHING still works except the fan motor. I'm going to double check all the fuses and test for power at the back of the climate controls. Anybody have any other ideas?

Does it work on any of the speeds? Remember that high speed has its own relay and circuit and the other three speeds go through the blower resistor module. Could be the module.

Nope, none of em work (unlike Mark). I'm at a loss right now but I've got some things to look at, it's gotta be a fuse but what else is hooked on the same line as the blower fan? Everything else works which is the strange part.

The Heater and A/C fuse (30amp) is fine, getting power and everything. WTF is wrong? I'm starting to think that a fuse box is a complete waste of space. They should just have all the fuses next to the battery instead of being under the dash where all it does is frustrate the $&*% out of me. Okay, Vent mode off, going back out to start car and plug the a/c compressor harness back in and see if the clutch works...if not, then there is definatly something strange going on.
i had a problem with mine a couple of years ago and they changed the fan speed switch. it cost me $180 for the dealerhsip to splice it in. i can't remember what the swich cost. i could have done it myself but i was thinking it was the a/c compressor. the dealer also told me that it could be the whole head unit. i believe it was $58 (not installed). i opted to change out the switch only and it has been working great for the last 3 years. i had the same problem as you did but i was messing with my third brake light. stupid light still don't work and when i get it to it pops fuses like crazy. is there any other light bulb that goes in there? that stupid 50w backup light is too pwoerful for that purpose. hope this is as good a info you give out to evryone else about our cars.
