a few months ago i replaced my heater core. in the process i broke a piece of plastic off by accident. i think the plastic had something to do with directing the heat out of the vents because now all i have is heat coming out of my passenger side floor right near the box for the heater core. because of which now my defrosters suck. is there any way to fix what i have broken? thanks for your replies.



87 sc 350, th350 tranny, b&m z gate shifter and stage 2 shift kit, slightly better then stock torque converter, edelbrock performer intake, edelbrock 600 carb,14 inch edelbrock air cleaner, edelbrock racing fuel pump, dynomax shortie headers, custom y pipe, flowmaster american thunder cat back 3 inch, iroc turbo hood with vents cut out in the sides, and super wide grand prix tires on the back with cragar rims.

 

Junk, basicly those boxes are nothing more then trap doors that deflect air, so your best bet is to replace the part you broke from the junk yard. You might just replace the whole air box. It can't be the pricey unless you go to the dealer.

Super glue or epoxy will do the trick--if you still have the broken piece.
