how to service an r4 compressor?

so my ac compressor locked up & fried the bearing in the clutch/pully assy. to save money i bought just the bearing so that i could get the pully to spin.

well. i couldnt get the bearing out. everywhere i take it from auto machinists to a/c shops tell me its either the wrong bearing or it cant b done at all. well i went to 3 different checkers & they all say the one i have is the right bearing. so why would they sell the bearing if it cant b replaced?

does n e one have experiance replacing this bearing & would b able to tell me how to do it?

thanx.

99-350 GM R4 Compressor Bearing Remover and Installer
22-1058 GM Staking Kit Bearing & Pulley Installer

these are the tools i ordered for the job. if you need any other A/C tools check these guys out....

i think that is the same bearing.. im not too technical, but after u remove the clutch plate from the front of the pully assy it is the bearing that is in the middle of the pully assy.

well i got the plate puller from advanced auto & it started to break as i used it.. so my dad ground it down & straightened it & luckily it worked a second time. im not getting the installer because im just going to tap the plate back on.. my a/c wont work but the pully will spin & thats all i need.

thanx for the link im gonna c if 1 of those other tools is what i need though.
