im cutting up an S/E with 2.8L and T-5 and 3.73, anything to save off the 2.8L engine besides alternator anf fan and radiator and whatever ? im more of a truck person, not as knowledgable about cars, especially V-6 ones, i can repair them and whatever, but dunnop what stuff is worth saving for whatever reasons. is there an ESC or ECM in the 84 2.8 cars ? i see an ALDL connector underdash, so must be at least an ESC in it..
or is it even worth trouble of saving it or any wiring in the car ? all is mint shape,..,,

are some common failure things that might get you a few bucks on the classified boards. headlight motors, dashpad (if in not cracked), seats (if not torn or bent), factory subwoofer setup, 3.73 ring & pinion set.

but market is saturated with used 2.8L f-body parts. a couple of local salvage yards have crushed more or less complete f-bodies because nobody wanted any parts of value off of them.

 

yeah dashboard and instrument panel and console and all kinds is mint, but no interest in it, and so i guess is gonna go to shredder way it is, i guess i may save alternator and 3.73 axle(unless is only 26 spline, anyone know if it would be?) and radiator, rest i dont need., maybe except driver side mirror since mine on the maro is broken, even the door hinges are not worn on this bird..... sad really,...

Might want to save the MAF if its got one. Are you sure that it has a 3.73 rear? IIRC, 2.8's got 3.42's and if its before 88 then its 26 spline.
