EDELBROCK AIR GAP or NO??

Im going to buy the air gap intake to hold me over for now. It doesnt really match my cam and heads that well but I plan on getting new heads and cam. What's the highest lift cam that will work with this intake? I drive some streets but want to be in the low 12s at the track. I may buy trick flow 23 degree aluminum heads or dart pro heads. Basically, will this intake allow me to build a crazy motor with a lot of horsepower or should I buy anoter intake? I dont want to buy an intake now and then ditch it because it isnt as high performance as my heads and cam. Please Help I'm buying tomorrow!!! Thanks all

I thought someone said the AIR GAP isn't the best for a daily driver. Could be wrong though.

Get rid of that sound system, and you'll knock off a couple tenths.

Sorry I can't answer your question.
