Should a torque conveter wobble on the shaft of the tranny?

I bought a rebuilt converter to go on a used tranny. I installed it to make sure it fit, the converter will move up and down and side to side if I push it with my hands. Is this normal? or should it be tight? There is no leakage around the seal from previous use. I can take a screw driver and place it inside the converter and move the second rear most spline thingy around. Could the converter be bad even though its a rebuild?

Ive swapped trannies before but never really took notice of how tight the converter was after it was on the shaft. I plan to install it this weekend but IM worried about the play in the converter. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Mike
