I had the same problem, but mine was more hard acceleration, it was so bad that the front speaker covers would come out of the dash.
I fixed it by putting on new struts/springs/shocks, and also a new set of tires.

Do you get a bang when you launch? If so check your tranny mount. Hell check it anyway, it probably is part of the problem. Had the same problem after replacing clutch. New mount...problem solved.

no no its not the tranny mount i know for sure. if i stomp it from a dead stop it spins then right as the spin was about to wear out WHAM WHAM WHAM its VERY bad. Im afraid im gonna break something i can get on it as hard as i want and it does fine but if i try to spin around a turn or from a stop it does it. Soon as i get the struts in ill see if it helps...if not i guess ill get springs to i plan on new tires anyways. my question is what would be causing the wheel hop?

i wonder what caused it? i dont see why installing new shocks would do that to a car i dont get it. maybe its not sitting right now since the struts are messed up?

Yeah its that damn stock suspension flexing that is causing the bad wheel hop. You gotta go for some aftermarket stuff.

Get some poly bushings and put them in there. While you have the lowers out, get some steel from the hardware store and box them. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than buying aftermarket stuff and works great. The relocation brackets are a great idea too.
