Question about a CFI
Question about a CFI
How hard is it to get a CFI engine to put out some good horsepower? I know back in 83 they used to fly, but thats cause they had nothing to b compared to, now everyone is puttin out mid 200's w/o a problem.... hardly a challenge for ricers
i'm wondering if its possible to make in into a TPI and how hard it would be? Thanks

Search the archives (mostly in the TBI forum). There are a couple of people here who have tried to get crossfire to perform well. You'll find it is definitely "the road less traveled" and that your pocketbook would probably be better off going carb, but that's not to say it's not a worthy endeavor. Good luck!

I wouldn't waste my time with CFI. It's just not going to perform cause of the restictions in it's design. Your better off with a Performer, and a carb.
Here's a couple of anti-XFire propaganda photo's I created a few years back. enjoy.
