I don't know the numbers but I know they work. My new motor was running 190-210 degrees with factory radiator and single fan set-up with a 160 thermostat. Installed dual fan set-up and it very rarely goes above 180, mostly stuck on 160 which is great for me. The thing nobody can understand is how underhood heat these 3rd gens develope-man they're ridiculous. Touch anything under the hood after operation and be prepared to get burnt.

The dual fan F-body setup flows a lot of air, unfortunately I don't have any real figures on how much, but just think about what they have to do. I mean our cars have no grill on them and don't get a lot of airflow - especially at low speeds when the fans are needed the most.

My buddy threw on an extra set I had laying around from a GTA and his 81 Malibu with a fairly stout (low 12 second car - prolly high 11 with the latest round of mods) 400 in it and his car will drop right down to 160* with the fans on - even in traffic. He previously had a dual 12" aftermarket setup on there and they would only cool it off to about 210* and they were constantly on. The F-body fans he installed don't even come on all that often.

The 4th gen fans flow over 5000CFM in their full on mode, so I'm pretty sure the 3rd gen fans are similar. Basically more than any of us will need on the street.
