i have a 350TPI GM Goodwrench Crate Engine, whcih is about 4-5 years old. i would like to know the specs on it, how many hp it has stock. are there any pages which display all the gm goodwrench engines? i thought it was a direct l98, but the valve covers arnt centerbolt. please help
As long as this is a 2/3 Cheeser forum (now 3/4), I'll add in. The casting numbers you need should be on the rear ledge of the case:

You might also be able to get some data from the right front cylinder deck pad:

Most of the Goodwrench engines are the "Hecho en Mejico" variety, and there is some contention over what heads and cams were used with what cases. If you have perimeter bolt rocker covers (pre-'87 style) you MAY also have a flat tappet cam, and possibly a two-piece rear main oil seal.
If you have the GM part number from the replacement engine, that would be a good start.
