305 or 350?

I recently purchased a '82 Z28 w/ a blown engine. I was told a new one was in it w/ a 350 Crossfire. It came stock w/ a Crossfire 305. How do I tell whether it is a 305 or 350?

#1. Check the casting number on the rear ledge of the case;

#2. Remove a head and measure the bore.

Other than the casting numbers, there are externally no differences between the two.
