Need help making a decision
Ok, if you were me, be glad you're not, what would you do to my car? Look at my sig, then my time. It doesn;t add up to me, but whatever, I accept that my car is slow. Assuming I get about $5,000 for graduation what can i do in the two months before college? I would like whatever i do to be finished quickly so i have some of the summer to drive it. Also, when I first start my car by choking it after it's been off for at least several hours, it rins 50% better than normal. After about two minutes, or if i put it out of drive, it runs normal (crappy) and i lose a decent amount of tourque. I wish my car always ran the way it does then. Any suggestions will be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

With $5000 dollars you have some real options here. BTW, I ran 16.4 at the track yesterday too. I know how you feel. But this is what I would do:
*3.73 or 3.42 posi rear end
*Buy a 350 block and some heads, almost everything will switch over, except for the oil pan, rods, crank, and pistons. I just said heads because those 58cc's aren't very sufficient. You could probably get all that for like $700-$1000.
*How much of yor A/C did you take out? Take out ALL of it. The duct work to. That's a bitch BTW.
*Smog pump should be annihalated.
* I suppose by your sig, you don't have a performance muffler, I just saw a cat and headers. I recommend an SLP loudmouth muffler, but flowmaster sounds good too.
*After that, how about some juice?
Good luck man,
