ECM install

Hi,
I bought a fastchip from ed wright and also got a 160 degree thermostat. I put the thermostat in....what a pain in the rump that was. Anyways I finally pulled my ECM out and put the new chip in. Now the problem is that I can't get the ECM back in the dash. Any tips would be very helpful. Do I need to take the dash piece out that is directly behind the map sleeve or do I have to bend myself into a pretzel and finesse in up in there.

Thanks, Derek

there is plastic pin on the ecm carrier that must slip into a hole at the top of the dash before the bolts at the bottom will line up right.

YES you may need to bend yourself into a pretzel to get it in.
