What do I cover engine with while intake is off?

Ok I am swapping to a lt1 intake, but I had to pull all the TPI off cause im selling it. I think its sold so I had to take it off anyway..Well the intake wont be here for a few weeks. A good note is my car is in a garage so thats a plus. Right now I got all the old RTV off and all that and I just kinda put a couple towels acorss the lifter valley. Which should I do to keep the engine safe for a few weeks?

Yeah I just wanted to make sure it wouldnt rust or anything like that. I made sure everything had a good coat of oil on it. I may do a trash bag.
