Gutting A/C question about HTR box

Hey I am getting ready to take all the A/C pieces out of my car. My question is if I take out the accumulator. Am I going to lose the heater? I heard of S10 boxes working on these is this true?

Thanks all!

Dont get the s10 box unless u want to mod it to fit. If you dont have headers it will work, but the bolts holes wont line up. I tried a s-10 heater box but it wouldnt fit cause of my headers. If I was gonna use it I'd have to like make a huge *** dent in the side, but i decided to go with a thirdgen heater box. Got one from some guy on here for like $60 he sells them all the time.
