Have a question about a push rode.

Ok I have my intake off right now and was just checking some stuff I noticed one of my push rodes turns very easily unlike the other it takes a lil more effort to turn them. Im like hmm. I always did hear a noise on that side of the engine, but always thought it was a exuast leak. Is that a bad thing or not? Its just that 1 push rode that is easy to turn.

They should not be easy to turn. You should probably reset the lash on all of them if one is loose. To do this you just crank the engine until the pushrod in question is on the base circle(about 3/4) of the camshaft, and not on the lobe, then spin the nut on top until there is drag on the pushrod. Then go half of a turn more. If you do all of the pushrods at once, then crank the engine over and check again, and again, you're likely to not miss anything. If you find yourself readjusting the same ones, that's just because you adjusted them previously when the valve was open before, no big deal as long as you get it after the engine has changed positions. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure you can do a search on "setting lash," and find some better instructions, as mine are a bit brief.

Alright man thanx I'll check it out I know i've done this before with the engine running for a quick fix. The engine not quite able to be ran at this point. I was just scared something was wrong and i was gonna have to replace more crap. This is a rebuilt motor, but I never changed trhe cam, or lifters or any of that.

It's also possible that the lifter on that valve is leaking down slightly.
