Best shocks for a high mileage 1987 IROC?
Hello, I have a 1987 Camaro IROC Z, 305, and am going to replace the shocks all the way around. The car has 210K miles on it and the fronts are still original!
So, because the car is so high mileage (lots of rust) I am wondering if anyone can recommend an inexpensive shock. I was thinking of buying the Monroe SensaTrac but am not sure they have enough damping for such a stiff suspension. I want to install something that works well enough so that if I decide to keep the car it still rides well.
Thanks for any help!

Gabriels are what I used. Wasn't much over $100 from Pep Boys at the time. I can't tell you how they compared to stock, because they were on before I ever moved the car under its own power. Decent daily driver ride & handling.
We'll see if that changes when all the poly bushings go in.
