coolant flush.. couple questions

Ok, i know the direections on the back of the flush bottle, say to drain the coolant an then to add the bottle, and fill with water, run till hot, let cool down and refill, and then continuously flush the system while running the engine. is this the best way to do it??

also, when u bring ur car in to get the coolant flushed at a Lube Shop or something, do they wait for the coolant to cool down first (like you are supposed to do when doing it urself as to not put cold water in a hot engine.) or do they have a way of heating the water before putting it back in, or do they just not give a crap if the block cracks??? what is the proper way of a shop doing it??

When I flushed mine , I did the same thing , but I only ran the car for 10 mins . Then I drained it , put water in it and ran if for another 10mins . It should be clean after you run the water in it the second time .

Im not totally sure I know what your talking about in the second paragraph , if your reffering to puttting the same coolant back in , they dont they replace it with new coolant , but I could be reading what your saying wrong .

I love your t/a man !
