calling all 350, 383, 400, 406 guys...NEED INFO FAST

Will anybody who has these motors give me the hardcore facts on these dimensions:

bore diameter
rod length
piston height
crank stroke
wall thickness (cylinder edge to waterjacket)
I am attempting to explain to someone the differences in the motors but they do not want to accept my word, so please give yours.

I want to hear from the mechanics who have built them. Otherwise if you have built your own please tell me only the dimensions on your motor. I am not trying to sound like a jerk but I want to have the facts from the people who COULD PROVE it. That way I cant be wrong.

THANKS GUYS :hail:

ALSO, if any of you 400, 402, 406 guys can go to the "cooling down" forum and clarify the overheating myths, it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED, too.

THANKS

Engine: 5.7L TPI (L98)
Transmission: 700RJunk
383: bore=4.030" stroke=3.75"
350: bore=4.000" stroke=3.48"
400: bore=4.120" stroke=3.75"
406: bore=4.150" stroke=3.75"

The 400 has a special rod length of *I believe* 5.565", all others can be used with 5.7" rods or 6.0" rods.
I myself have a 377 going into my vette, which is an untouched 350 block with a 383/400 crank in it FYI and i'm using 6" rods.

The 400 came from the factory with 5.65" rods, however it can be built with 5.7" or 6.0" with the right pistons. The same goes for 350, 355, & 383's. Here is some info from Trick Flows catalog:

Disp. Bore Comp Ht. Stroke Rod length
355 4.030 1.555" 3.48 5.7"
355 4.030 1.250 3.48 6.0"
383 4.030 1.420 3.75 5.7"
383 4.030 1.120 3.75 6.0"
